In yoga, we learn to be flexible, not only in the body, but in our mind as well. Our thoughts, are patterns, our reactions - when these become rigid, conflict is sure to follow. But by becoming flexible, seeing other perspectives, allowing for other possibilities, we find that life can flow much more smoothly, and we can avoid the breaks that can happen when we refuse to bend.
